Packaging Distribution & Transit Packaging
Corrugated packaging is at the core of our business; we have been designing and manufacturing conventional corrugated packaging for many years for a wide range of industries, from food manufacturers through to automotive components.
We have the expertise to meet and exceed our customer’s expectations through our state of the art print and conversion equipment. We are also accredited to ISO 9000 enabling our customers to have confidence in our product and its quality.
Products to Reduce Your Production Line Costs
Weedon PSC produce labour saving designs such as crashlock and multi point glued trays and packaging. These are designed to speed up your production lines and reduce costs as a result.
We also work with machine system producers to find packaging machinery that can further reduce costs on production lines
We offer a JIT delivery service, focused on minimising your stock levels and maximising your space for production
We can offer a co-packing facility within our manufacturing centre, and, because of our experience in logistics and our central location can deliver your products direct into store or your customers main distribution warehouse throughout the UK and Europe.
Products to Reduce Supply Chain & Packaging Waste Costs
For companies involved in parcel distribution, Weedon PSC has developed the Securepak range for the postal distribution of books, DVD and CD-Rom media. For more information about Securepak click the link Securepak Range.
Weedon PSC have products, such as Carbon Lite, that delivers smaller cube and better truck fills in your distribution system.
Weedon PSC has also developed high performance speciality board grades that can perform the same or better than the equivalent, more conventional grades, reducing costs as a result, whilst improving the packaging performance
Working closely with customers, we have successfully helped many of them to reduce their primary and secondary packaging weights in line with the Courtauld Commitment.
The Courtauld Commitment is an agreement between WRAP and major grocery organisations which will lead to new packaging solutions so that less rubbish ends up in the household bin. The agreement will result in real reductions in packaging and food waste.
One specific product aimed at reducing the contribution to land fill is the patented Cordeck Pallet system, a range of products designed to eliminate the costs of one trip wooden pallets.
